Meet R.C. Tabb

Born in Norfolk, Virginia, R.C. Tabb grew up during the transformative decades of the 1960s and 1970s, shaped by a childhood near-death experience that left a lasting impression on his outlook. He pursued communications at Morris Brown College and spent a summer working as a youth counselor in Atlanta during the turbulent years of the Atlanta Child Murders.

Driven by a deep concern for the recurring cycle of child abuse, R.C. Tabb later moved to Washington State to work as a corrections officer. There, he conducted in-depth interviews with incarcerated pedophiles and collaborated with University of Washington film students to capture authentic stories from a wide spectrum of society, from those living on the streets to corporate victims of abuse.
